Both a snlgie GTX 590 and dual GTX 580 in SLI can work with a snlgie Full HD 3D monitor or three of these in a 3D Vision Surround configuration. While a snlgie GTX 590 may be a bit cheaper, it is also a bit slower, cannot be overclocked that much and is harder for cooling. So if you are planning for a 3D Vision Surround setup I’d recommend two GTX 580s in SLI, for a snlgie 3D monitor even one GTX 580 video card should be Ok, providing enough fps for comfortable gaming in stereo 3D mode in most of the games.For a monitor to be used for stereo 3D gaming among what you are considering I’d recommend the Acer GN245HQ as it is the most recent model and has pretty much the lowest level of crosstalk/ghosting among these. The only not so good side of the Acer is that it has some input lag, not much, but enough that people sensitive to it may notice it. The LG, BenQ and Alienware all are supposed to be with no input lag, which can be slightly better if you plan to play more in 2D mode with 120Hz refresh, but they do have more crosstalk as compared to the Acer, so not so good in stereo 3D mode.All of the monitors have the standard VESA mounting at the back, but you should be aware of a few important things regarding 3D use in Portrait mode. Single monitor use in 3D in Portrait is Ok, although the horizontal viewing angles when in Portrait mode are more reduced. In 3D Vision Surround configuration you are not able to have three monitors in Portrait mode working in 3D mode yet, they can only be used in 2D mode in Surround. +16
